Great, but better in airplane mode

I first tried this game while in a no-service area, and quickly became addicted. However, when I started playing with signal the un-skippable video ads drove me mad. I know free games are supported by ads and have no objection to the banners, but a 15- to 30-second video to access a puzzle that takes 10 seconds to solve is a huge disincentive (to say nothing of how much data is being wasted by videos being loaded without wifi) I stopped playing for months before realizing this could be prevented by entering airplane mode.

Great game, I want to support it, but please replace the videos with less obtrusive ads, or at least make an option to only load them when on wifi so theyre not draining mobile data.
